I’m an amateur wine connoisseur. I like to try different wines and pair them with different foods in my spare time. I absolutely have fallen in love with Chardonnay.

It’s the right amount of dry and has a crisp finish. I usually like one that has strong hints of pear, pineapple, and apple. In the winter I eat it with salty Soppressata and mozzarella. In the summer my go to is cantaloupe wrapped with prosciutto, drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette and topped with some basil and some type of hard cheese.

Chardonnay is one of those wines that isn’t too dry and has subtle hints of the fruits that I like the most. I’m a gal on a budget so I choose what is the most bang for my buck and no after taste. There are 2 wines that are my go-to when funds are low and the need for a crisp wine is high. Liberty Creek Chardonnay and Summerville Park by Parker Estates Chardonnay. They are both under $10 and taste great! Summerville Park is has a light finish with no bite. It has notes of pineapple and pear that I enjoy. Its a really light dry wine. The Liberty Creek wine has a more bold taste. I can taste the apple but what draws me to it is the finish. Its kind of creamy. So if you are looking for a great chardonnay on a budget these two I highly recommend. Cheers and Happy sipping!
